Dr. Daniele De Girolami

Dr. Daniele De GirolamiDaniele De Girolami, MD, FACC, FSCAI is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. De Girolami earned his Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Medical School in Mexico. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL and his Cardiology Fellowship at the Mercy Hospital and Medical Center and South Miami Hospital.

Dr. De Girolami is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, American College of Physicians, American College of Forensic Examiners, and the American College of International Physicians. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, Illinois State Medical Society, and Medical Society of the United States and Mexico.

Dr. De Girolami serves on the Cardiology Committee of Silver Cross Hospital. He is the Former Chairperson, President of the Medical Staff, and Medical Director of the Provena St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Dr. De Girolami is a Past President of the Heartland Education and Research Foundation. He has served as a medical instructor and the Principal Investigator for several research projects.

Dr. De Girolami has been the recipient of several distinguished awards throughout his career. He was named the Chicago Metropolitan Top Doctor in 2001 by the Castle Connolly Guide, American’s Top Physician in 2003 by the Consumer’s Research Council, the Physician of the Year in 2003 by the National Republican Congressional Committee Physician Advisory Board, and the Businessman of the Year in 2003 by the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council.

Dr. De Girolami is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
